Chorazin was an ancient village in the Roman and Byzantine periods, best known from the Christian Gospels. It stood on the Korazim Plateau in the Upper Galilee on a hill above the northern shore of the Sea of Galilee.

Findings - The main settlement dates to the 3rd and 4th centuries. The majority of the structures found were made from basalt. The town's ruins are spread over an area of 25 acres, subdivided into five separate quarters, in the center the large, impressive synagogue built of basalt stones and decorated with Jewish motifs is the most striking of the surviving structures, in the center. Close by is a ritual bath (mikvah), surrounded by public and residential buildings.

כורזים היה כפר עתיק בתקופה הרומית והביזנטית, המוכר בעיקר מהבשורות הנוצריות. הוא עמד ברמת כורזים שבגליל העליון על גבעה מעל החוף הצפוני של הכנרת.

ממצאים - היישוב העיקרי מתוארך למאות ה-3 וה-4. רוב המבנים שנמצאו היו עשויים מבזלת. חורבות העיירה פרושות על שטח של 25 דונם, מחולקות לחמישה רבעים נפרדים, במרכזו בית הכנסת הגדול והמרשים הבנוי מאבני בזלת ומעוטר במוטיבים יהודיים הוא הבולט מבין המבנים ששרדו, במרכז. בסמוך נמצא בית מקווה (מקווה), מוקף במבני ציבור ומגורים.

Capernaum was a fishing village established during the time of the Hasmoneans, located on the northern shore of the Sea of Galilee.

According to the Synoptic Gospels, Jesus selected this town as the center of his public ministry in Galilee after he left the small mountainous hamlet of Nazareth (Matthew 4:12–17).

Discovered at the site were 173 plaster fragments bearing inscriptions, mostly in Greek. Some, like “our Lord”, “the Nazarene”, “the greatest of all” and “Simon”, attest to the existence of a Christian community.

A dock has been built near the antiquities site, which allows visitors to sail to Capernaum from Tiberias and Ein Gev. Because the level of the lake changes frequently, the dock has been constructed to rise and fall with the water level.

Kfar Nahum Promenade - along the Kinneret there is a 3.5 km long promenade connecting Tabacha to the marine entrance in Kfar Nahum National Park.

כפר נחום היה כפר דייגים בחופה הצפוני של הכנרת, בבקעת עין שבע, והתקיים מהתקופה החשמונאית ועד התקופה הביזנטית בארץ ישראל.

על פי המסופר בברית החדשה, קבע ישו בכפר נחום את מרכז פעילותו במשך תקופה ארוכה, ואחדים משנים-עשר השליחים התגוררו במקום.

במקום התגלו 173 שברי טיח הנושאים כתובות, רובם ביוונית. חלקם, כמו "אדוננו", "הנצרת", "הגדול מכולם" ו"שמעון", מעידים על קיומה של קהילה נוצרית.

סמוך לאתר העתיקות נבנה מזח המאפשר למבקרים להפליג לכפר נחום מטבריה ומעין גב. מכיוון שמפלס האגם משתנה לעתים קרובות, המעגן נבנה כך שיעלה ויורד עם מפלס המים.

טיילת כפר נחום - לאורך הכנרת ישנה טיילת באורך 3.5 ק"מ המחברת את טבצ'ה לכניסה הימית בגן הלאומי כפר נחום.

Domus Galilaeae or House of Galilee, located on the peak of Mount of Beatitudes, above and north of Capernaum and the Sea of Galilee, is a Christian meeting place used for seminars and conventions, run by the Neocatechumenal Way. On his pilgrimage to Israel in 2000, Pope John Paul II visited Domus Galilaeae and said he hoped it would become a place for interreligious dialogue.

The center is envisaged as a place where Christians will learn about the living tradition of Israel, following the footsteps of early Christian saints "who returned to their Hebrew roots to understand the meaning of prayer, of feasts, and Hebrew liturgies". John Paul II, who exemplified a new era of affinity between Catholics and Jews, emphasized the need to appreciate Jewish roots in order to live-out authentic Christianity;

There is an auditorium (gathering center), a church, a synagogue, and a library defined as a theological library under the auspices of the Vatican that combines Christian and Jewish religious books and has 12 chairs as the number of tribes of Israel standing around the Torah

המרכז הבינלאומי דוֹמוּס גָלִילֶאֶה ("בית הגליל) הוא בית ספר לכמרים, מרכז מפגש ולמידה ומרכז התבודדות של ארגון הדרך הנאוקאטקומנאלית הקתולי. המרכז שוכן על הר האושר ליד כורזים, מעל כנסיית הר האושר, ומשקיף אל חופה הצפוני של הכנרת.

המרכז נחנך רשמית, לאחר השלמת בנייתו של אגף אחד, בעת ביקורו של האפיפיור יוחנן פאולוס השני בישראל ב-24 במרץ 2000. המרכז החל לפעול בשנת 2003.

מטרת המרכז היא לימוד מסורת ישראל כמקור לנצרות וטקסיה, במטרה להעמיק את הקשר בין הנצרות לבין היהדות, וכן התעמקות בדרשת ההר לאור המסורת והליטורגיה היהודית.

במקום נמצאים אודיטוריום (מרכז התכנסויות), כנסייה, בית כנסת, ספרייה המוגדרת כספרייה תאולוגית בחסות הוותיקן המשלבת ספרי דת נוצריים ויהודיים ובה 12 כיסאות כמספר שבטי ישראל הניצבים מסביב לספר תורה.

Domus Galilaeae International Center

Jordan River Park is by the eastern channel of the Jordan River and minutes from the north-east shoreline of Lake Kinneret and is therefore included in this section. It is a wonderful place for family activities and relaxation. The ruins of Bethsaida (Beit Tzeida) are within the park and are of significance to Christians.

The main attraction for children is a large pool. There is also a waterfall in which kids can get wet and plenty of shaded picnic benches. There are also night nature activities for families.

There are a number of circular paths for walking.
The yellow trail includes two sections in which one can either wade through the water or walk on the path by the side of the stream. Much of the walk is between dense vegetation and does not offer views. The trail is about 2.2 Km and takes about 1½ hours.
The blue trail is 1.8 Km, takes about 1½ hours, and provides views over the Jordan River and watermill ruins.
The red trail is by the streams of the Jordan River and also passes the ruins of watermills. It takes about 40 minutes.

פארק נהר הירדן נמצא באפיקו המזרחי של נהר הירדן ובמרחק דקות מקו החוף הצפון מזרחי של אגם הכנרת ולכן נכלל בקטע זה. זהו מקום נפלא לפעילויות משפחתיות ולהירגע.

האטרקציה המרכזית לילדים היא בריכה גדולה. במקום יש מפל שבו הילדים יכולים להירטב והרבה ספסלי פיקניק מוצלים. יש גם פעילויות ליליות בטבע למשפחות.

ישנם מספר שבילים מעגליים להליכה.
שביל הצהוב כולל שני מקטעים בהם ניתן לשכשך במים או ללכת בשביל לצד הנחל. חלק ניכר מהטיול הוא בין צמחייה צפופה ואינו מציע נופים. אורך השביל כ-2.2 ק"מ ואורך כשעה וחצי.
שביל הכחולהוא 1.8 ק"מ, אורך כשעה וחצי, ומספק תצפיות על נהר הירדן וחורבות טחנות מים.
שביל האדום נמצא ליד נחלי הירדן ועובר גם על פני חורבות טחנות מים. זה לוקח בערך 40 דקות.

Amnon Beach is declared as an official bathing beach on Lake Kinneret, where a camping complex is located on the water's edge at one of the attractive points of the Sea of Galilee. shaded places and easy access to the water.

The beach is a 'quiet beach', and playing music is prohibited.

Parking price for 24 hours is about NIS 62.

חוף אמנון הוא חוף רחצה מוכרז שבו ממוקם מתחם קמפינג על שפת המים באחת מהנקודות האטרקטיביות של הכנרת. מקומות מוצלים וגישה נוחה למים.

The Hidden Waterfall - 1.5 miles west of Capernaum and just 1500 feet away from the Church of the Primacy of Peter is one of the Sea of Galilee’s best secrets – a hidden waterfall, right above the Sea of Galilee.

A rushing white waterfall, at the bottom of this waterfall, a cool pool of clear water is surrounded by grey rock and greenery.

The waterfall was formed by modern drilling next to one of Tabgha’s warm water springs. The water there empty into the Sea of Galilee. In antiquity, the water filled a round pool next to a cave associated with Job.

By local Muslim and Druze traditions, here Job soaked his body after being afflicted with a disease. Being so, some call the waterfall “Job’s spring” or “Job’s Waterfall”, and believe its water has a therapeutic value.

מפל לבן גועש, בתחתית המפל הזה, בריכה קרירה של מים צלולים מוקפת בסלע אפור וירק.

המפל נוצר על ידי קידוח מודרני ליד אחד ממעיינות המים החמים של טבחה. המים שם מתרוקנים לכנרת. בעת העתיקה מילאו המים בריכה עגולה לצד מערה הקשורה לאיוב.

לפי המסורות המוסלמיות והדרוזיות המקומיות, כאן איוב השרה את גופו לאחר שלקה במחלה. מכיוון שכך, יש המכנים את המפל "המעיין של איוב" או "המפל של איוב", ומאמינים למים שלו יש ערך טיפולי.
